1. Champagne Moments

Okay to say we are OBSESSED with trend is an understatement. We love the idea of a ‘champagne moment’ at your wedding, whether you replace the confetti shot with a champagne pop or cutting the cake with a champagne tower, we think this trend is going to be huge in 2023!

2. Dried & Spray Painted Florals

Dried florals have been booming in the last few years, and we’ve loved how couples have started incorporating this into their wedding designs. Adding a fresh 2023 twist is the spray painted floral! Make your flowers match your theme or give them a super cool pop of colour. We think we’ll be seeing lots of rust orange, teal blue or baby pink sprayed florals this year.

3. Colour Blocking & Clashing

2016 to 2020 saw the rise of the minimalist and 2021 – 2022 saw the rise of the maximalist! Bold florals, clashing colours, colourful dresses, candles and table displays seem to be in the works for 2023. The trending colours are set to be valentino pink, aqua blues, blush pink and peachy oranges.

4. Flash & Film Photography

This trend has been growing in popularity for the last few years and we are so excited to see it take off in 2023. Candid photos, film and polaroid photos, phone content and direct flash photography give your wedding photos those super cool, retro and relaxed feel.

5. Feathers & Fluff

2023 is the year of all things fluff! We are looking forward to seeing more feather trimmed dresses, pyjamas, shoes and bags! Feathers and fluffy pampas grass will also be big in the wedding decor this year, with dried bouquets and table decor.

6. Rust Orange

Rusty orange vibes are set to be absolutely huge this year, from decor to florals and even fashion. This bold orange echos the 70s vibes and pairs so well with mustard yellows, champagnes and rich warm browns, as well as working perfectly with disco vibes on your big day!

7. Addams Family

We have been seeing the alternative wedding trend grow for a few years now, and thanks to the phenomenal success of Netflix’s Wednesday, we’re set to see big Addams family vibes in weddings this year. With things like black dresses, lace, dried roses and dark decor, we love this unique take on a wedding!

8. Streamers

Streamer walls, streamer ceilings, streamer arches and even streamer couple shots. These magical installations are set to be huge this year. Simple to create and easy to install, they make a cheaper alternative to floral installations, but are just as striking. For a sustainable twist on this trend, opt for paper streamers that can be recycled after your big day!
