How did you two meet?
We came across each other on Instagram and after around 6months of liking each other’s pictures we bumped into each other in Gran Canaria and well the rest is history.
What was it that made you choose Bachilton Barn?
Having family in Central Scotland and then family up Aberdeenshire we wanted to make sure we found a venue somewhere in the middle and Bachilton was the only place for us.
What was important to you when planning your wedding?
After the last 2 years we wanted the day to be more than just a wedding but a big celebration with all the people we love and care for in one big setting again full of fun but most of all we wanted the day to reflect us and the kind of people we are.
Tell us about your big day! What was your favourite part?
Our day was the most magical and amazing day, it went way better than expected. When choosing a venue like bachilton that is such a beautiful blank canvas it can become difficult to vision everything that you have planned but it all went well perfectly. We had a day filled with fun and surprises from the get go like the bouncy castle to the singing waiters at the BBQ, then the rave entrance to our reception and then to top it all off the amazing chichi monroe giving us the best drag show EVER. If we could do it over again we would in a minute…
What tips and tricks would you give to other couples planning their wedding?
The best advice we could give is don’t feel like you need to please people.. this day is all about you so go as small or as big as you like but whatever kind of day you have just take a few minutes out of it to just sit back and take it all in because you blink and it’s all over.
How are you enjoying married life?
We’re loving married life and just enjoying still watching all the videos and looking at pictures. It’ll be nice to relax for a couple weeks before jetting off on the honeymoon.
